“Salone dell’auto di Torino”
DAY 1
Our journey begins in Barge, Piedmont. Here, there is an extraordinary collection of vintage cars housed within a design hotel, featuring historic Fiat and Lancia models from the 1920s and 1930s, in a unique setting that combines hospitality with automotive passion.
Next, we head to the Sacra di San Michele to enjoy excellent craft beers. Brewed without filtration or pasteurization and using water that springs from the mountain, the beers produced in this evocative location are served alongside traditional dishes in the adjacent restaurant.
Typical regional lunch.
After lunch, we will visit the archive of a distinguished protagonist of Italian design, where you can view scale models, concepts never realized and industrial design materials. An exclusive and private access to original designs, with the opportunity to see sketches, prototypes, vintage photographs, technical documents and private correspondence.
Here ends the first day, but the tour continues ...
DAY 2
The second day takes us to the birthplace of one of the pioneers of Italian motoring, namely Cumiana. We will discover the history and techniques of a famous Turin brand, a star at the Turin Motor Show with prototypes and models that have marked Italian car design.
Typical regional lunch.
After lunch, we will move to the Mirafiori district of Turin to visit the former Fiat factory area, where architect Renzo Piano created an art gallery featuring a selection of 23 paintings and 2 sculptures by artists such as Canaletto, Picasso, Modigliani, Canova, Matisse…
The second day also comes to a close, but our adventure into Turin excellence continues!
DAY 3
The penultimate day of our exciting journey will be entirely dedicated to the excellence of Piedmont, on a route that winds through scents, history, wine and design.
The first stop will be Savigliano, where we will visit and linger in a techno-sensory hub offering a journey through the art of perfumery and the essences of the Piedmont region.
Typical regional lunch.
After lunch, the second stop of the day is dedicated to visiting a wine estate in Quargnento, which combines a passion for wine with a love for cars, often hosting gatherings and meetings of collectors.
We will then move to Monferrato, where we can taste typical wines from this area and have the pleasure of discovering the famous stone quarries: underground cathedrals where the region’s characteristic wines are aged.
The last stop of the day brings us back to Turin, at the headquarters of a historic editorial office which has been reporting on international automotive design for more than 40 years.
The third day ends here and we approach the final day of our adventure!
DAY 4
The final day is entirely dedicated to the Motor Show, the most important automotive showcase in Italy and one of the main ones worldwide. On this annual tour, Speed No Limits accompanies you to discover the symbolic places of Turin’s automotive history.
Our journey discovering the symbolic places of Turin’s automotive history ends here. Until the next adventure!
